Barana. The Pionner in Manufacturing Industrial Brushes in Brazil.
December, 18th 1898. Giovanni Barana lands on the port of Santos (SP), with his bag full of dream of work and richness in a new country.
He left behind his youth in San Bonifacio (VR, Italia). He had, in front of him, the challenge to build a better life to his whole family.
A challenge that began to be won in 1908, with the foundation of his own company: "BARANA BROTHERS" - in São Paulo, Brasil.
With a sharpened vision, he began to make brushes to sweep, paint articles, barber articles and mechanical brushes. It was the only company on this division all over the country.
In 1930, the interior of the state (São Paulo), showed signs of development. When Domenico Antonio Barana assumed the direction of the company, he moved it to the city of Rio Claro, where he stayed until 1964.
On this time, with the growing of Brazilian industrialization, Barana company moved to Limeira, and enlarged its line of products.
To answer the request of the orange farmers of the region, it makes its first equipment: a machine with roller brushes tractioned with motor and chain to polish the oranges and increase its comercial wealth.
Nowadays, commanded by Mr. Jose Barana, the company extends more and more its action and it takes the position of leader in brushes and equipments for citrus, fruits and cereal producer. Installed on a area of 10,450 square on the edges of Anhanguera road, the company can trust on the fidelity of its clients all over the country.
The Barana company, proudly, shows every day, the ideal of a man that believed on his work as a way to change his own name in a brand of tradition and quality. |
